FINAL PRODUCTION - A2 MUSIC VIDEO
This is our final piece. After all the editing, post-production and planning we believe that this video is the best creative piece that fits the criteria most predominantly.
FINAL DIGIPAK
This is our final digipak. Rather then using a 6-sided digipak cover we've decided to use 4. This allowed my group and I to creatively focus on the dark stylistic colour scheme and simplicity that we had intend on. We believed that rather then trying to over complicate what was asked of us, we believed this digipak created a strong and direct link towards our music video and our advert.

DIRECTORS COMMENTARY
Towards the end of our coursework, my group and I collectively did a director's commentary following through the development and post-production changes that we've done. We have done this to give the audience/viewer a further understanding of how we managed to split up the process of our journey between a group of three. We also wanted to outline what key features we thought was relevant to notice whilst explaining our roles and time management.

EVALUATION QUESTION 4
Transcript:
One media technology that I used in the
production of my music video was Final cut pro. This software enabled us the
song from Christina Aguilera’s song as a template to make sure the content of
our video creates a cohesive link with the lyrics of the song. Final cut pro
also enabled us to use the blade tool to cut un-wanted pieces of our work so
that we could selected the pieces which we needed to create a professional
video. Implicating a professional music
video was not easy, so we made sure to play around with the tools and uses of
this software; I found out that my group and I could use zoom in/out shots to
convey extreme close ups and wider shots to portray important pieces of
information. For example, one of the characters had a bruised cheek and we used
a zoom in shot to show the bruise and reflect the lyrics of the song. This
construction allowed us to develop our own video.
Through the research, I googled and
searched up videos on youtube such as tutorials of how to use the software.
Youtube was a positive influence as I managed to use the basics to create a
sound and clearly structured music video together with my group, as we helped
each other we learned more tools such as filters, how to input other pieces of
work from our camera and how to fit pieces of our music video together. This
online research helped us plan exactly how to use certain pieces of recordings
to match the lyrics of the song. So after the basics, we put everything
together and focused on creating a narrative and than edit the entire video.
When re-evaluating, we noticed that
specific parts of the video were slightly vague and didn’t match our intended
outcome, so we re-filmed and put together a clearer image towards the viewer
rather than making the narrative more complicated. We also re-filmed because we wanted to
capture a dark thematic nature since we wanted to base that concept on our digipak
creation and advert.
